PROGRAM DETAIL

Myers’ CocktailDetailed information

Key principles and treatment approaches are explained by topic.
Specific methods and the number of sessions are determined after medical assessment.

What is Myers’ cocktail (IV infusion)?

Developed by American physician John Myers, this intravenous nutritional approach combines water-soluble vitamins, including vitamin C, with minerals according to the patient’s condition. Persistent fatigue despite sleep can have various causes, including nutritional deficiencies, and requires assessment. Approaches to fatigue may include dietary changes, exercise, and vitamin supplementation when appropriate. Myers’ cocktail, developed by John Myers of Baltimore, combines ingredients such as calcium, magnesium, and vitamins B and C.

Myers’ cocktail supplies antioxidant vitamins when appropriate for people experiencing fatigue, including office workers, homemakers, and students, with the aim of supporting energy and recovery. Infusion time: 10–30 minutes. Anesthesia: none. Recovery: daily activities may be possible immediately afterward. Method: intravenous nutrient infusion.

Main ingredients

Vitamin C, magnesium, vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), and vitamin B12 (cobalamin). Vitamin C supports antioxidant functions. B vitamins help the body use fats, carbohydrates, and proteins for energy. B6 supports neurotransmitter processes involved in mood and nervous-system function and works alongside magnesium. B12 supports metabolism and plays a role in homocysteine regulation. These nutrient functions do not guarantee a specific response to infusion.

Why may vitamin supplementation be needed?

Vitamin C deficiency can impair connective tissue and collagen synthesis, increasing capillary fragility and bleeding in skin or mucous membranes, and may affect immune function, wound healing, and anemia. Vitamin B6 deficiency may occur with alcohol-related poor absorption and can accompany other water-soluble vitamin deficiencies, dermatitis, or mood symptoms. Vitamin B5 deficiency is uncommon with a normal diet but may occur with severe malnutrition, including in alcohol use disorder. Vitamin B12 deficiency can impair DNA synthesis and red blood cell development, causing anemia. Zinc deficiency can affect gastrointestinal or respiratory tissue, growth, skin, and immune function.

Magnesium deficiency may lower blood calcium and can be associated with muscle cramps, raised blood pressure, and vascular spasms.

Potential effects of Myers’ cocktail

Nutrient infusions may be considered when a clinician identifies a need that cannot be adequately met through food or oral supplementation. Persistent fatigue and respiratory, muscle, endocrine, metabolic, menstrual, or mental-health symptoms require their own assessment. A vitamin infusion does not replace standard treatment for these conditions, and benefits for energy, immunity, concentration, or performance in otherwise healthy people are not established.

Q&A

How often are infusions needed? The need for treatment and the interval are determined after reviewing your health and nutritional status. What about vitamins from food? Diet and oral supplements can meet many nutritional needs; fatigue alone does not show that an infusion is necessary. Are there side effects? Water-soluble vitamins are generally excreted in urine, but high-dose or intravenous use can still cause adverse effects. Please discuss the likely benefits and risks before treatment.

PROGRAM DETAIL

Glutathione InjectionDetailed information

Key principles and treatment approaches are explained by topic.
Specific methods and the number of sessions are determined after medical assessment.

What is a glutathione injection?

A program using glutathione, considered after reviewing your health, medications, and goals. Evidence for whole-body skin lightening with intravenous glutathione is limited. Benefits for heavy-metal removal, immunity, or age-related concerns are not established for this cosmetic program. Please discuss expected benefits, limitations, and possible adverse reactions. Infusion time: 20–30 minutes. Anesthesia: none. Daily activities may be possible afterward. Method: intravenous infusion.

What is glutathione?

Glutathione is a peptide made from cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine and is involved in the body’s antioxidant processes. These biological roles do not by themselves establish the benefit or safety of intravenous use for cosmetic skin lightening. Suitability, evidence, and potential adverse reactions should be discussed with your clinician.

Plan Me glutathione injection highlights

The key point is that repeat intervals are determined after consultation. This glutathione-centered program is intended to support antioxidant functions and skin condition.

Glutathione injection questions&A

How is skin-tone treatment planned? Pigmentation and dullness have different causes, so an assessment helps identify suitable options. Evidence for whole-body skin lightening with intravenous glutathione is limited. When might changes appear? The likelihood and timing of any benefit are uncertain and vary; please discuss alternatives, evidence, and risks during consultation. Why can responses differ? Baseline skin condition and other individual factors affect treatment choices. Can creams or lotions be used alongside treatment?

Products that suit your skin may be continued after discussing their use with your clinician.

03 · IV & WELLNESS

Amino Acid Injection

Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins that make up the body.

Illustration of infusion equipment and amino acid molecular structures
01 / AMINO ACID

Amino acids: basic building blocks of the body

Amino acid infusions may be considered when assessment identifies inadequate or imbalanced nutrition and a reason for intravenous supplementation. Fatigue or stress alone does not establish a need for an infusion. Evidence of immune-boosting benefits in otherwise healthy people is insufficient.

02

Skin & recovery

Skin structures such as collagen are made from amino acids; adequate nutrition supports skin structure and wound healing.

03

Muscle & brain tissue

Proteins are important to muscle and brain tissue. Whether amino acid supplementation is needed depends on nutritional and medical assessment. Benefits for muscle strength, judgment, or memory from an infusion in otherwise healthy people are not established.

04 / ESSENTIAL AMINO ACIDS

Supplying essential amino acids

Essential amino acids cannot be produced by the body and must be obtained from outside sources.

Plan Me’s amino acid infusion contains a high proportion of essential amino acids and is used to support correction of deficiency when appropriate.

PLEASE NOTE

What is a glutathione injection?

This program uses glutathione and requires an individual medical consultation.

Glutathione has a role in the body’s antioxidant processes, but its biological functions do not establish that intravenous treatment will lighten skin, remove heavy metals, or prevent aging.
